I send mail to Elbox about FastATA drivers for MOS..and recived this message

"I suggest to address this question to the MOS Team.
They asked us for the documentation of the FastATA controllers early
2002 and they received it then. They informed us that this documentation
they need for developing MOS drivers for the FastATA controllers."

Any know what about this?? MOS TEam any plan for relassing this drivers??tnx!

That's true, I did ask for the info and received some very simple document containing fastata's register addresses with no real description. The document then got lost in some hd crash or so and when I asked Elbox for the specs again, they never replied. After this I lost the interrest in doing FastATA support for MorphOS.

Anyway... as you can guess there is nothing to release as no MorphOS FastATA driver exists. It is also unlikely that it will happen in future as I simply have no time for this (and won't be able to access my Amiga for the next 1.5 year).

Elbox has released a FastAta1200 driver for Linux, it seems quite small so it may give you a hint about what the registers do. The source is quite small, around 9Kbytes:
