Well, I have little knowledge about 3D (tried Real3D on A500 in 1997), but I'm really impressed with Blender. I guess it is one of important applications for MorphOS. I'm going to learn it a bit at least to be able to model and render some simple graphics for WWW pages :-). Youmgui is my hero today ;-).

    THANKS YOMGUI!!
I'm just using Blender 2.37a in Linux, BeOS, MacOSX and windowze and I Love it, so it's a big thing to use the MOS release. Now I've a problem with my Peg and when it will be ok I'll use it(I've just download it with PythonMOS).
    You are the man!

Very cool...very important release for MorphOS.

I guess an OS4 version (from someone elese) won't be far behind now you did all the hard work though...and people say MorphOS doesn't help Amiga OS ;-)

Just tried Blender and it's making a good first
impression for me. It's going to take awile
to learn all the intricate parts after using
other 3D software for so long though. In any
case the rendering speed is great and most
important functions seem to be working well.

Thanks for the great effort in porting Blender! :)

    @Felix

it's a beta version, and i guess you can find a pretty cool PNG icon from the linux version.
    google is your friend.

Although I still hate you, :D I `ll would recomend blender.org itself as a starting point. Beside the Handbook, there is also a beginners tutorial hosted.

Here is a great icon for blender. just change it to .info from .png and your set! You will still need to do an iconx script for it.

About sources: blender 2.37a sources are released. check me web site: hhtp://yellowblue.nerim.net/

About icon: sorry I've no time to do that and even more: blender should not to be start from Ambient but from CLI ;-) This pb is added in my bug list to fix !

If anyone can send me a great icon and authorize me to give it in archive (so it need to be GPL!)... I would be happy 8-)
    And now... next project!
