i did not believe what i saw, but Alien Breed 3D II: The killing grounds works on Pegasos! You have to use the inofficial TKGRTG version though, which introduced cgfx compatibility and fullscreen playing mode. in opposite to the a1200, on peg it did not crash yet :), and with JIT it gets really speedy . . .

Yup... I have it running here as well. (Without JIT thought, but it still runs at a good pace. :))

How did you get rtgmaster to work? It keeps telling me that it can't find any screenmodes.

I don't know if it is free. I just have the original disks and downloaded the TKGRTG patch a while back.

Actually the RTG patch of AB3D2:TKG has AHI support so you do get sound.

I haven't had any luck with Genetic Species (from Back2Roots), Nemac 4, Gloom Deluxe (can't get past the startup screen) and either of the Trapped games.

Yes it works, and is faster than on any 68K machine (to my recollection), yet it's not crashproof. (RTGMaster is a nightmare, it was a nightmare on classic machines too)

I had this problem too. Then I noticed the install hadn't done its job properly. I had to copy manually the CGX related libs to libs:rtg and libs:rtgc2p; then it works !!

It works quite well, however, I have two problems :

* only the 320*240 mode seems to work properly; above, only a 320*240 portion of the screen seems to be used

* but in this resolution, I can't see, or only parly the bottom bar when the ammo, health etc is displayed...

Does anyone have a solution ?


Anyway I'm qute surprise b/c I never managed to make it work on my A1200, and here it seems to work very well (fast, no crash yet, sound)..

I think the resolution problems are related to just how the patch works?

But yes, it does work much better on the Peggy then it ever has on my A4000-060-CV64/3D/Delfina Lite. :P

I don't hva my peg at work, but from memory, just play around with refresh methods in AB3DII options
