    Hi

Here comes some first information about the pop3 morphos.user.com email service.

The pop3 mailserver is running and working.

A line, set up for this service is also now working.

    # For the user of MorphOS it means, every MorphOS user can have a pop3 mailbox of totally 10Mb for free, with a adress of user@morphos-user.com

    # Later on there will also be a webmail connected to the mailbox. And it is of course also possible to use for instance Morphzone webmail together with mailbox.

If any question, or suggestions, please ask them in this thread.

    Thanks !

    Gunne
    Best wishes, Gunne

    :-o :-o :-o

    Cool idea! :-)

Questions: When does this start, and how do one get to use it? Is there any cooperation with the MorphOS team and/or their registry over MorphOS users (maning "official" MorphOS users), or is this service really free for everyone that wishes to have a mail adress with that domain? Web mail is great! :-) Will there be some kind of forwarding system as well?

Where do I sign up? :-D
MorphOS is Amiga done right! :-)
MorphOS NG will be AROS done right! :-)

    Heya tmhg,

    1. It starts as soon as possible
    2. Yes, there is some co-operation with the MorphOS-Team, and, yes, that does mean "official MorphOS users).
    3. It really is free, but accepts donations via the bounty page.
    4. I don't think we are doing forwarding at this time, but it _may_ be considered in the future.
    5. Sign up page will be opened when the service goes public.

    Whew!

    hello

It is ready to use. And works to use, without problem. Hosting is no problem.

But I put the question open in this way.

Is a good way to let every morphzone user having a mailbox ?

How do we know who would like to have a mailbox ?

    Hi Phantom206,

You mail me on gunne@ggsdata.se and you will get instructions.

Anyone can do, we can start using it this way.

Later on, we do need someone (trustworthy person) that can help with maintenance, as thats where the most work is, as always.
