I've heard of people using workbench with morphOS instead of ambient. Do any of you know how to do this? I know you loose things like png icons but there is a morphOS build for that if you use workbench as a replacement. I'd love to have a guide on how to do it. Maybe also a advantage and disavantage of using list as well?

Wow, it works! I just got done doing it and its a nice trick I guess. I'm not sure if I will keep it like this, but it doesnt seem to slow the system down any.

The WB replacement "Scalos" is coming too. They now have been sponsored by a Pegasos ODW and porting it to MorphOS has obviously already begun. This according to the news page at the Scalos website.

BTW, has anyone tried if it is possible to get Workbench from OS4 running?

Yea it is great new, maybe someone should recoment they take a look at the Ambient sources and see if they can use anything from it? Could they do that? Or would it make Scalos GPL? Here is the forum site for Scalos too. SACLOS FORUMS
