AHI Mic in on PegasosII

    Hi,

I want to write some signal processing code for MorphOS and therefore
I need to read samples from the mic. I use a plain PegasosII with the
integrated AC97, no additional sound card.

I thought that I might just use AHI to read from microphone but when
I tried the hard disk recording demo from the AHI developer archive
it just came back after less then half a second (I did a setting that
it shall record about 5 s) and nothing was recorded; I connected
my mic to microphone input on the back side of my Pegasos.

Before I dig in too deeply just to find out that it is not working at all:

Does anybody of you know, how to read samples (i.e. with AHI) and
where to find some example code and if it is possible at all?
Or is it that I just did some mistake and that the standard AHI hard disk
    recording example should work?

Thanks in advance for your answers and best regards

    (Dent)

I've tried AHIrecord but it doesn'y work on my Peg I. I've a soundblaster in my Peg so I use EMU10kx for sound. So perhaps that's the problem?

I can only record with line-in. Haven't found any program that handles the microphone input so far, unfortunately =(

With AHIRecord I can only see Input -> Mixer and Monitor -> Line... No microphone or anything else.
