    Hi all,

My Pegasos is for sale, and I'm accepting offers for the following...

    --

    Pegasos 2 G3

    256 MB of NANYA DDR

Sapphire Radeon 9000, 128 MB, DVI, composite and SVGA outputs

Samsung Spinpoint 120 GB, 8 MB buffer, ATA133 (suspended on rubber, the drive is very fast and almost entirely noiseless, MUCH quieter than the previous 7200.7 Barracuda I had installed)

    Samsung 52x CD writer

Samsung 16x DVD player (both drives are black, matching)

    UDMA round cables

Silverstone 350w "quiet" PSU (single 120mm fan, a short description/review here)

Pabst 12 decibel exhaust fan for the case, rubber mounted

Bigger Zalman heatsink for the G3 card, yes it's overkill but the old one was just getting too hot for my tastes...

Cooler Master ATC-111c, you can see pics and a review of that case here

    --

This was my baby, everything bought new at the time of assembly and has seen minimal use.
I almost had as much fun looking at it as I did using it.

The system is VERY quiet and in mint condition, EXCEPT for a *very* small surface scratch on the
top of the case (about 1 1/2 cm in length) which is not noticeable unless you really try to look for it.
Also keep in mind that mplayer is NOT compatible with the DVD drive, at least not that I'm aware of.

Obviously v1.4 of MOS is installed, Debian also installed with working DRI, however the Epiphany browser
has grenaded itself and I haven't had the time (or desire) to fix it. Quake 2 (demo) with 3D acceleration
works in linux, albeit a bit jerky.

Please PM me with any questions or *realistic* offers, and feel free to post any questions/comments to
this thread. I'd also be interested in what some of you might think is a reasonable asking price for the above.
Since I live in the US, I'd imagine shipping outside of North America would be cost prohibitive.

    Regards,

    Damion

Sadly I just don't have the luxury time for all of my hobbies anymore...so I have
to let one go. Might also part out my 1200/060 system...which actually disturbes
me more than selling the Peg. Plus I'm going to have to move soon and need to
lighten the load a little...I can only take one computer and realistically that has to
    be the PC.

Price?? I really have no idea, what do ya reckon it's worth? $850? I would probably just keep it if
it's not worth anything but I'd rather not. Anyhow it's a nice system and whoever ends
up with it certainly won't be disappointed...which may just be myself if noone wants it LOL :-)

I'm also willing to sell the board separate -

    $295 USD

New at retailers they are selling between $400 and $520 sans shipping,
and assuming you could buy them direct from Genesi at $299 EUR that
    would be about $370 USD.

That's the board, latest "bios", with it's original packaging, books
and CD, all absolutely mint/like new.

PLUS...there's more...I'll throw in the 256MB RAM stick ABSOLUTELY
    FREE. :-)

Including shipping within the US, that would be about $300 total...now
    that's a pretty good deal. :-)

That's a pity :( Sell your pegasos to go back on PC.
I hope you'll be back on Pegasos after moving !
BTW your case is very nice ;)

Tempting price, actually. My Peg I is a betatester, and I do need a stable machine. Let me talk to the wife about it.

    Hi -D- ,

If Nate does not take it we will. BTW, the Pegasos II G3 won't be made again.

We have a perfect place for you to send it -- the MorphOS Pilot Project...;-)

Just let us know. BTW, why isn't poundsmack buying it?!

    R&B :-)

After I move, settle in and get a steady income again, I will
    buy another Pegasos...this time a G4. :) Until then I will definately
    miss it.
