As far as i know, there is no version of UAE with working HD-Emulation
    (Partition or Image).
I tried many different versions incl. older UAE for AmigaOS/PPC, but
i could'nt get one to work with HD...

Some screenshots (i think on on Morphzone !?) show working UAE with
HD-Partitions. But i dont know how these people get it to work !

    Hey thats cool ;-)

I think i tried exactly that command, but couldnt get it work.
    I tried with A4k Kick-ROM 3.1, AmigaOS 3.1 and 3.5 but The Workbench
did'nt boot (got Guru-Medition). Then i started from WB 3.1 Floppy
(ADF) and the HD System-Partition was mounted, but all subdirectorys
were zero-byte-files (and no working directorys)

Please can you tell us wich Version of UAE you are using and where to
    download it ?

    Many Thanks !

I've tried all sorts of (MOS/WOS/PPC) UAE ports and always ended up either kicking my dog or shouting at my monitor :-P

It would be great if someone with more luck/cunning/intelligence/patience would write a "UAE for MorphOS in easy 10 steps", including either the use of a dedicated FFS partition or even better, using a dir on your SFS formatted HD.

I dare all happy UAE users; will you be the one bringing joy and enlightment too the UAE-less community (and not to mention saving my dog in the proces ;-) )?

Try this package. You have to edit the config Files by Hand but there
    is a sample included.

    Download

    Good luck.

...And DJBase takes on the challenge! Will he succeed? Will Stevo finally (and succesfully) install a working version of UAE? Will his dog life long and prosper? Stay tuned, as Stevo is finding out....

And here are the results from the Dutch jury.....10 points! :-D

Heh, took me some fiddling around, but it actually works :-) Great one DJBase, thanx!

Still, the emulation is rather slow (especially I/O acces and sound), while the sound is automatically set to 16-bit 22050 khz mono. Is there a way to raise this value? Is the MOS-native version of UAE better and/or quicker? How's the update status on MOS-UAE anyway? Do bears life in the woods? Is the pope catholic?

    Questions, questions ;-)

It works, but on my Peg2/G4 its unuseable slow...
Booting standard Worbench 3.1 takes about 2 minutes,
opening the Worbench-drawer takes over 1 minute before all icons are
displayed... this cant be real :-(

Is that a G4 related problem - how are the results on G3 based Peg ?

What core should be used - the old or the new one ?

    ---Edit

The Dutch jury is sorry to lower the points for DJBase's suggestion to 5, because of incredible instability of the PPC/WOS version (0.8.12). Changing the version with various other ones (0.8.22, 0.8.6 etc.) resulted in not being able to start UAE at all. It's rather speedy though now i've turned sound of again.

So what am I doing wrong? Or is the 0.8.12 version instable? And how do I succesfully replace it with a more stable version? The investigation continues....
