Got a strange message when trying to rip a couple of CDs.

For the Album title and track names I got this message:

Artist: It appears that your email address is invalid.

    Title: See https://gnudb.org

    Date:

1 It appears that your email address is invalid.

2 To resolve this issue, please access the settings

3 in your program and update your email to the

    4 correct one.

5 If updating the email address is not feasible,

6 it suggests that your program may not be

7 compatible with gnudb.org, as it requires

8 a valid email address for authentication

9 purposes. For more information, you can

10 refer to the Terms, Privacy & Cookie Policy

    11 at https://gnudb.org/privacy.php.

12 Nevertheless, you can still proceed by

13 selecting a CD from the provided list.

The website providing the names must have changed something… I’ll take a look…

Thanks so much. I remember something similar happened a couple of years ago. You wouldn't believe the hassle it is to rip CDs to FLAC using an old Mac!

As far as I can understand, you can register your IP address here: https://gnudb.org/info.php
It'll then allow you queries from Jalapeno again.

I'll see if I can make this work better later on.

    You can also do

setenv save CDDBP_SERVER "UNIQUECODE.gnudb.org", replacing UNIQUECODE with the Unique Code you were assigned when registering there. This should work even if your IP changes and I'll add it to the settings later...
