Hi, I have 3xPCs and 1xPegasos at home connected together (100Mbit ethernet). One PC has connected printer (HP870CXi) and it is shared. Other PCs can print via ethernet easily, but I dont know how on Pegasos (Samba).

I see shared printer and I can doubleclick on it (in Tango). But it will open a requester to assign this printer. I dont know, what assign destination I have to choose?

    Some expierences, or ideas?

Look on Aminet for "Samba Print Spooler". You will find two tools. Probably they work also with MorphOS.

    Hi JACK

download 'lpx.lha' from aminet and follow the instructions in lpx.guide in the archive.
    should work.
    -edit-
Sorry that file is to make your peg2 a print server through samba.

    hi,

look on the OS3.9-CD, there's a LPR device in the Contribution-drawer, which let you print on the printer in the net.
