As a senior forum user I'd like to abuse my privileges and hereby publish this sales ad:

    I have a G4 15" PowerBook for sale. Specs:

    - A PowerPC 7447A (G4) CPU at 1,67 GHz
    - 1 GB of PC2700 DDR RAM
    - ATi Radeon 9700 (with 128 MB VRAM)
    - battery is working and it holds charge for about 2 hours when fully charged
    - a 40 GB hard drive
    - a US/UK keyboard layout
    - AirPort and Bluetooth built in
    - MorphOS 3.10 installed (not registered)

The overal looks is very good, the computer comes with genuine Apple power supply (with EU plug) and a cartoon box it was sold in (see photos).

Now for the downsides - there's only one. The second (lower) RAM slot isn't usable (sometimes the RAM stick is visible to the computer, but most of the time it's not), so it's restricted to max. 1 GB RAM it's sold with.

I'm asking for 65 EUR plus shipping.

I use similar PowerBookG4 and recommend this model for MorphOS. If someone wants to use a laptop with MorphOS, thich machine is the best. We can't buy better laptop for MorphOS.
Only one element which should be changed is hard disk. This HDD is veeeery slow and should be changed to faster HDD (or SSD). Changing HDD in this model is trivial so the disk is not a problem.

Well, actually there's at least one better machine - A1138, also 1,67 GHz but supporting DDR2 memory.

You are right. I didn't see title where is symbol of the model (A1106). I just looked at specification and saw G4/1,67 and 128MB VRAM. However this also is very good PowerBookG4.

You've done well, apprentice. I look forward to your promotion.

    ...and back to the thread:

I can also sell the computer alone, without the box. It will cost 55 EUR then and this is as low as we go. If it won't get sold at this price then I'm going to look for another motherboard for it to make it fully functional (and a bit more costy, sadly).

More than 1GB is nice to have, but not really needed. Even OWB does it with 1GB for a long while (memory-leak).
    1xPeg2, PowerMac G5, PowerbookG4, 2x MacMiniG4, Efika (again), A3000T, A3000D and life is never boring.....

Well, 1 GB is more than enough for all G4 Mac Mini owners, that's for sure :) But it's quite sad when the computer theoretically enables twice more but in reality only 1 GB is accessible.
