Conditioning Powerbook battery with MorphOS

This is probably a stupid question but here goes :)

I read in the Powerbook manual about conditioning the battery. Is there something special in the Mac software that makes this work or can you just follow the same procedure under MorphOS with the same results?

I'm asking because I just got a new battery and I want to get the best life out of it that I can.

Thanks for helping the stupid Powerbook newbie :)

Nope, that's just the same procedure. You don't need extra software for this.
    Talos II. [Gentoo Linux] | PMac G5 11,2. PMac G4 3,6. PBook G4 5,8. [MorphOS 3.18 / Gentoo Linux] | Vampire V4 SA [ApolloOS / Amiga OS 3.2.2]

And what would the procedure be, please?

It would be great if you could relate this procedure here in a few lines ;-)

    Best regards

Take a look at page 17 of this manual. It's actually called calibrating by Apple,

    Powerbook G4 manual
