I'd ask for an url but I've got FB blocked router-side so that creepy crap can't track me all over the internet. How about pasting the relevant text?

Unfortunately, so many people who were involved with the creation of the original Amiga, and everything that came afterwards to create and sustain this community, have passed away, leaving a rich history, and tons of great memories, that outshine the many disappointments, and allow the legacy of all things related to the Amiga computer to continue on, and on, and on, as long as we remember, and appreciate the people who made it all possible, and the third party developers who contributed to this community.

R.I.P. Oliver, and my deepest condolences to all of his family and friends. Celebrate his life and accomplishments with joy, and do not dwell too long on your pain, due to his absence.

Terrible. I've never met the man in person, but Yoyager and especially Amirc have served me well. I still use Amirc to this day on MorphOS. If anyone is in contact with the family, send our regards.

Sad news indeed, especially considering he was only in his mid 40's.

But I can tell you that damn, his work brought fun to my Amiga days. AmIRC, Voyager enabling me to browse on my trusty Amiga and to download warez with. Very fun times.

Very sad news indeed. I still use and love AmTelnet as well.
So many lost to cancer this year.
Never knew he was so young. He did a lot for so many in the time he had.
