I would like to change my panel to a different color(the default horizontal bar at top). Adding widgets such as cpu monitor, weather, memory usage, and others that are part of a desktop. I do know how to add another panel fro the ambient settings. But the default one is not a color of my liking.

Are you talking bout the Screenbar or the panel ?

Background of the panel can be changed in Ambient settings.

About the panel. I want it to look like this Black panel with widgets. I'm confused where the setting are for this change. I don't like the default panel color and want to change it. :)

    In the Ambient-Menu: Settings/System/Screen/Ambient/Skin.
There you can select the Screen-Skin.

What about the widgets. Cpu/Ram monitor weather etc...

If you're talking the lower part in my screenshot, they are achieved with few different programs. It uses Wetter (weather), Statline (memory/uptime), and Magellan2 (menu buttons, maybe this could be replaced with Panels) for the bar at bottom. So, 3rd party programs are required for that.

But the "widgets" in the top bar are MorphOS's screen bar modules. You can select them and their settings from the screen depth gadget with the right mouse button. You can add 3rd party modules to get weather etc information there too.

Thanks that did it for me. BTW I enjoyed looking at your desktop screenshots. Not to get off topic. But, I see you have some c stuff in the scribble notepad(That C stuff I was talkin' about.) Can you compile the code in the notepad program?

Thanks, I try to make screenshots informative and feature rich :)

You can compile and run C programs from Scribble's buttons/menus if you have a working makefile in the same dir.

BTW. that example C source code is also available in MorphOS SDK.
