This is very stupid rubbish that ISP says they only support certain OS. It is not necessary because many ISPs do not force this. So if they say the ISP is only going to support Windows, OSX, and Linux, this means that MorphOS will not connect to it?

Example is the mobile Wifi Hotspot devicesa such as Sprint LivePro, Netgear Fuse, PocketWifi, Netgear Zing,

and Wifi USB Modems such as Netgear 341U.
    :-) I Support Quark Microkernel. :-D

"The hotspot supports up to 10 devices total, plus one plugged in via USB. Using Ethernet-over-USB, the hotspot worked as a USB modem for both a Windows 8 PC and a Mac.

More management is available from a Web-based management console. There, you can more closely monitor your data usage by network type, control Wi-Fi setup, encryption and MAC filtering, and implement UPnP, VPN, port forwarding, and filtering and a basic firewall."

As far as I can see the Netgear Zing should work fine - can't you just connect and manage via Wifi, and/or using the on-screen controls for the initial setup? I'd suspect the other mobile hotspot devices will be the same - why exclude iPad/Android tablet users, mobile phone data connections via WiFi, etc?

wrt the 341U, there are plenty of other USB modems that are also unsupported :)
