UK MorphOS users needed

    Hi folks,

    You might have seen my news item about the Recursion Computer Fair in Stratford-upon-Avon on Sat 4 July.

    At the moment, we have very little MorphOS input and I am very keen to balance this out. I have an eMac running MorphOS but will be fairly busy during the day, so won't really be able to do too much promotion with the general public.

    Are there any UK based MorphOS users out there who could pop across to Stratford and help out?

    Please pm here or email rmbATkesDOT.net

    Cheers

    Richard

    I'm from Finland and can't help with in-place demonstrations (but might have a few programs to show)

    Just wanted to point out that there's a typo in the url (www, instead of www.) - took me a few moments to notice :-)

    I am based in Swindon, but I am relatively new to MorphOS so I may not be much use. I used to be a guide at the Museum of Computing so I have have plenty of experience doing public events.

    If I can help let me know.

    I need to organise how to get there as I don't have my own transport so I am afraid I will not be bringing hardware.

    But it seems getting there by bus is my cheapest option.

    If I am making it I will more than happily help out

    @NewSense
    Cheers Neil - email sent with exhibitor's info - free parking on site for exhibitors.

    @zerohour
    We're about a 10 minute walk from the train station and the main bus station

    @yoodoo
    Thanks, that sounds as I expected for parking, and hope my presence & hardware enhances the experience for all who can make it there.

    @zerohour & boot_wb
    I'm driving down from the Manchester area, heading down the M6, to Stratford, but if one of you is on the way there I have no problem picking one of you up, but a major detour might be too inconvenient - if you can make it to a suitable rendez-vous then I'd see what I can do. :-D

    Ah well, kiddies take priority :)

    Have a good one, weather should be Scorchio!

    Just trying to reassemble Powerbook #2 today (fixed dc/audio pcb), but will be there with Powerbook #1 and Macmini at least :D

    Looking forward to the other exhibits aswell, looks to be a really well organised event.
