    Do you set number of buffers to zero if you use DiskCache?

    1 + 1 = 3 with very large values of 1

    DiskCache aka DynamiCache works on file level.

    No it does not. It sits between the disk driver and the filesystem.

    Aha, so where are buffers? I would like to have some criteria for the settings.
