I cant change the clock time. it is going on UK time and I need to move it to +1 hrs. the top bar flashes red when I try to change the clock.

SystemPrefs/Locale: Choose correct timezone for your location!
Change time: Doubleclick on time-gadget in Ambient menu-bar, or Systemprefs/Time.....

System prefs did not contain Locale,

System contains prefs

in Locale could not find where to select time zone

(I did chose correct time zone upon installation)

I am lost ;)

Sure you're working on MorphOS? :)

On Screenbar (Menubar) select Preferences/System and then (in opening window) Locale..........

In the Ambient-Menu Settings/System/Locale/Time Zone
The Date and Time you set in Settings/System/Time or better with SetClockNTP in S:/user-network-startup.

I found the time zone and it is correct set already.

The clock however is one hour wrong. I cant change the clock on setting/system/time.

I tried to locate the SetClock but did only find it through the utility "find" located in System:MorphOS/C/ so I opened it and then Ambient output window returned following "SetClock: required argument missing
System:MorphOS/C/SetClock failed returncode 20"

I think it is wierd that it should be so hard for an beginner to choose the correct time on the clock ??

Anyway, you were in right place to change the time (on time prefs which can be found from system settings or double clicking the clock in screen bar).

But if you happen to use setclockntp to sync clock from net and still get clock one hour off on each reboot, then you should change timezone setting from locale prefs. That may happen for example with summer/normal time changes.

Yes i didnt delete the old number, I am so used to only have to mark and enter so actually deleting them before entering new clock time was the solution.

However I have to say that is really something that should be changed in MOS, it is just not logic for an average user of 2015 I think,

Yeah, as the marking works in other places usually, I'd consider this as a bug. Maybe some limitation in MUI for certain types of input strings or so, but anyway. I made a bug report of it and lets see if it'll be changed in future :)

Maybe it should be some numeric buttons rather than text input?
