    It's called Yasu's MorphOS Blog and is about our favourite OS. I got the inspiration from Epsilon's X1000 Blog, where he tests various programs and hacks and carefully explains how to get stuff to work for an unsure audience. I wanted to do something similar: a MorphOS blog for beginners and intermediate users.

    I hope someone will like it :-)

    Much needed blog, IMO. Thank you Yasu for that.

    One topic that might be worth covering is how to use Amiga legacy SW on MorphOS.
    The need for such can be seen for example here:

    Thanks for the kind words :-)

    @KimmoK

    I have not had much luck with that myself. I might give it a try in the near future.

    @Papiosaur

    Sure, I can do that, but why is it linked to a PDF? I think there should be a permanent download page since the pack changes every now and then.

    @Jambalah & Krashan

    Thanks! There are a ton of things to write about so expect more :-)

    Really nice blog, and nice to see that my old skins are still used (and working) after all those years ;P.

    You made that? It's my favourite. I don't mind a complicated skin, but most are just way too much of everything.

    Yeah I made that theme and several others 6 or 7 years ago. Glad you like it.

    I sold my Pegasos II around 2010 I think and haven't used MorphOS since then and it's not likely that I ever will again.

    So I guess not ;P

    I just visit this site occasionally to see how things are going.

    I don't know the names anymore (it's been a while) but if you search the forums you'll find all my themes (around 5 or 6) and I've also uploaded them to Aminet.

    >>EDIT>>
    Ha' I just found a couple of old screenshots on my computer and the theme is called MorphQS. The themes are actually older than I thought, this one is from November 2005.

    I bet I have them all anyway :-)

    Too bad. Even though a used Mac doesn't cost much today. I hope you reconsider and return one of these days ;-)

    I know, I even had a Mac Mini lined up for MorphOS (sold it because MacOS bored me to death waiting for MorphOS to be released for the mini)...

    But nah, I'm a hardcore Linux guy even before I started with MorphOS in 2002 on a Pegasos I. Besides Linux I'm too busy messing with my old Amigas and various 8-bit computers. 8-bit rules! ;-)

    I enjoy your work as well and truly hope that you will change your mind at some point. MorphOS is much - much more mature than it was, say, 4 years ago. Prices are quite cheap for a used MAC PPC and a Mac Mini doesn't take much space. Hope you reconsider it :)

    Please reconsider. MorphOS is superior compared to Linux.
