While updating my home office, I ran across a CD-Rom backup I'd made of my A4000 before it died sometime in 1998. I have a lot of ProWrite word processor files on the disc from my college days that I would like to convert to a modern format. The program ProWrite fails to load properly, so I'm unable to open them and save them as text only.

    Any ideas?

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Turns out FinalWriter will open ProWrite documents with most formatting intact.
