If someone is interested, I wrote a report on assembling the Pegasos II and installing some software. I will be updating it when I manage to complete the different tasks remaining ;-)

BTW, I installed jabberwocky 1.4, but i can not read incoming messages. Chat window is ok. I think it's because MUI TextEditor.mcc is not working properly. I downloaded it from Aminet. But when I select TextEditor in MUI Prefs I don't get any prefs windows...

    any help?

Great guide,:) should be usefull when I can use my PegII (ie when easyetrader.com get off thier buts and send me that memory and case I ordered on the 23rd dec).

You may need the MUI mailtext.mcc to read incomming messeges. Search on yah local Aminet:)

Hawk: having SnoopDos (Amiga version from Aminet works ok on MorphOS) helps a lot. Witht that program you'll be able to see if some additional libraries (or in this case, mui parts) are needed for the program.

Oh! I forgot about SnoopDos! :-D too many years without using Amiga... anyway, I think for new users, with no amiga experience, a lot of things may be kindda enigmatic... More basic info would be nice... Well, I'm still updating my guide. I'll write about SnoopDos today ;-)

nice review Hawk... about the booting thing ...pegasos boots also with the commando: boot cd boot.img

I will try to see if are other boot possibilities like via USB or Network card.
..there will be only one left.
