X-Surf and Miami

    Anyone a hint how to make Miami cooperate with the X-Surf under MOS?
    If I chose the devs:netork/x-surf.device dhcp fails and Miami hangs
    afterwards...

    IIRC X-surf works only with MNI drivers

    I have been trying to get MorphOS PowerUp online on my A4000 with CSPPC/060 to register my copy of PowerUp. I have an x-surf card installed in my A4000 and can get online with OS3.9 and Miami. However (as mentioned elsewhere) the x-surf.device does not appear to work with Miami and MorphOS PowerUP. I've seen mention of a modified x-surf.device driver for morphOS but have not been able to find one. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Teemu Suikki wrote a patch for the XSurf device in 2000. I guess it is okay to send you a copy, send me an email to chrisly@platon42.de to request for it.

    Ariadne_ii.device file patched and installed as new x-surf.device. Now online with my A4000/CSPPC and MorphOS PowerUp. MorphOS registration site is down at the moment. One step at a time ;-)

    Can you make this patch public? Or maybe upload it to aminet?
    I think quite a few users would like that patch.
