    Hello Morphers

Please please someone help me here. With 1.3 I had Guido's NewLowlevel driver working with my CW3 (only 1 button support though) Now, I see that MOS 1.4 supposedly has Joystick support built in for gameport - how does this work? BTW my joystick support with 1.4 is now broken with newlowlevel driver. :( Please post your configurations of what you all are using for joysitcks and libs.

    Thank you.

How do we get support? I'm trying to do demonstrations of Peg and MOS with games and must show joystick support!

Like I said on IRC, I use Guido's lowlevel.library. I could help with that, but I'll have to research the "native" lowlevel library.

I had problems with that "old" lowlevel.library, now I use the one, that comes with MOS 1.4, it works just fine...

It's got no prefs, my "PC joypad" works straight away, with all 4 buttons it has...

    Hi!
Newlowlevel.library worked good with MOS1.3 here!
The native lowlevel.library from MOS1.4 works
    plug&play here! No problems!
Maybe you have an old one in sys:libs/ ?

Btw: Did anybody try tools like "MacJoyPad" from Aminet? If it works we could play UAE-Games with our joypads....

    bye

Hi, I double checked how the lowlevel library is put into the system. I made sure to disable the user-startup stuff from guido's library (gameportenable in the s:user-startup). I double checked the version of the lowlevel.library in LIBS:, and you should do a "full" switch on that version.

    lowlevel.library 50.8 (06/06/2003)

Should be the numeric output. Without any configurations, this works with my joypad under MorphOS 1.4. If you have trouble, make sure when you launch a game (uae, mame, etc) that you have it set up to use a joypad.

    Thank you Guys!

Even though I had to reply to my own post to get action on it :P I had NewLowlevel.library working with 1.3. I will try the 1.4 native lib. Thanks a bunch :D

Good work Genesi (if it works)

into the Pegasos gameport not sure about CW
    support though.
