    @cd32:

    Do you have your Peg or are you looking for one? :-)

    @DJBase:

    It happens that I made a quick guide for Coder a few days ago, but it's in Dutch.

    What is exactly the problem?
    Perhaps we can solve the problem you're having now.

    Well, I can't speak for others but I have personally purchased a
    Pegasos and am very happy with it. MorphOS 1.4 is very stable
    at this point (compared to classic Amiga OS) and has many new
    features in addition to the incredible speed advantage of running
    all your PPC and 68K software on modern hardware.

    The most important part about the Pegasos is the great developer
    community and support offered by Genesi too. It's great to work
    in a constructive atmosphere where progress is being made. If
    you need more information about the Pegasos platform I suggest
    viewing the gallery here at MorphZone and see
    http://www.pegasosppc.com and http://www.morphos.net

    I haven't tried UAE myself, there is enough software to
    keep me busy for now and nearly all "system-friendly" apps and
    games run fine. :)

    Well, e.p.i.c. does a lot of ports (and original game publishing too). As far as USB, I have the Knights and Merchants demo on my Belkin USB pendrive, AND I played it several times under MorphOS FROM that pendrive! :-D :lol:

    UAE 0.8.22 always freezes the whole System.

    UAE 0.8.6 does always give me a black screen or window.

    @DJBase:

    Stick to the 0.8.6 version.

    I'll make a quick English translation of the guide and will put it in this thread today :-)

    I wouldn't worry too much about waiting for the
    G4 systems. It seems that the G3 and G5 models
    will be the focus and the G3/600 system is more
    than fast enough for most uses. You may want to
    wait for PegII though since the faster ram etc.
    will make a more noticable difference than just
    changing the cpu alone and the availability should be
    better by then too. :)

    Sound : not yet tested by me
    Processor : at least 68020
    Harddrives: sort of. You can assign a drive, but it doesn't work.

    @everyone:

    Download UAE0.8.6.lzx here
    Download MUIRexx_3_0a.lha

    Just install UAE.
    Install MUIREXX.
    Don't install icon.mcc with the installscript. Install it by hand to SYS:Classes/MUI

    Make sure REXXMast works. See the FAQs-button on the left :-)

    Make sure to have a kick.rom in the UAE-dir.

    In the UAE-dir you have a REXX-script called: uaewb.rexx.
    Start this script with the command: muirexx uaewb.rexx.
    (Or make a project-icon)

    You should see the GUI and can make adjustment and start UAE.

    Spidey

    (yes I know it is a very quick guide :-))

    After testing and testing it seems only UAE 0.8.6c is working here. I tried also 0.8.12 WOS Version but no luck. It has always wrong colors. For me 0.8.6 isnt fast enough to play smooth.

    Hi,

    I am in the process of getting UAE to run. Still not been able to start a game. Some errors I got. But what bothers me a bit is that there is a lack of information about how to get UAE to run. Spidey allready did a manual for me for it. That I will put up on the website. But I was thinking maybe it would be a good idea to have a UAE MOS section on my website. With everything about it. So that people for starters will know how to get it run and furthermore a lot of tips and bugs etc. Any thoughts to this?

    UAE 0.8.6c MOS

    Comments are welcome. Maybe there will be someone outthere to make a new GUI for UAE with more functions.

    Nice!

    I got tons of space left on my site so if there is any support out there I can always set something up. :-)
