What is the most important thing missing for MorphOS? I think many
users would agree it's a decent web browser.

Yet, the bounty for a KHTML port is only a measly 692.72 dollars at
    this moment.

If, like me, you'd really like to see this project happen, why not
give yourself - and MorphOS - a Christmas present by sending in a
donation? I believe we should be able to get the bounty up to at least
2500 dollars before Christmas. That should surely increase the
motivation to complete the bounty in time for the February deadline.

I just put in 50 dollars myself today, because I think that's money
well spent on a decent web browser for my favourite OS. If you're
feeling poor, please consider contributing at least something anyway.

I agree with what you are saying. $2500 could easily be achieved IMHO, especially if people outside the MorphOS community kicks in some as well. This will be released as open source AFAIK, which means that OS4 will also benefit from this project. So in my opinion there should be a lot more bounty contributors than MZ readers. This should be "marketed" at other sites as well.

This is a huge effort undertaken, and the screenshots released of the progress made is truly impressive IMHO!

So come on now people and open up your wallets! :-)

I've also contributed the bounty a small 15$ about a month ago, but AFAIK the bounty system is suffering from Thargan's real life duties. He said he knows he has to update the donations to reflect the actual state of the bounties, so let's just keep patient.

Anyway, I'll donate again when a public alpha will get released, and possibly when the final version will appear. The bounty system here on MZ allows to do so, and I think that it is really nicely thought out (now, if only someone could keep it updated! ;-) ).

    Kind regards,
    Andrea

Well I know Targhan is busy and has been a bit slow at updating the ammounts that show. Who knows what its at for sure. I agree though. Everyone needs to put in at least a small ammount.
