Out of curiousity, how many people here are or have been in demoscene, and how many have just followed it as a bystander?

    Hi folks!

In that case check out the new section in the MWD under Software - Demo-Scene.

ATM there's only the one link so PLEASE people - submit your sites that have demos on or sites that you know with demos.

    My thanks!

I have been in demoscene, and I could be in demoscene in the future if only I would get this little piece of hardware somewhere. ,p

I was involved in the demoscene '91-'93.
Then I sold my Amiga and wasn't interested in writing demos for PC (in those days all PC demos were pale imitations trying to copy what amiga demos were doing, and failing).

Now I just code games, (and in between released a few small 64k's and a chippack). We will be doing a real nice demo for Pegasos though (currently looking for artists).

I was. The teams I participated in still exist, yet pretty inactive to be honest. Don't think it will change anytime soon, given the great horror called IRL. In our spare time we make smaller/greater game projects instead of that. (Spare time? What spare time? :-))
