    Re-posted here...wrong forum 1st time round!

    Okay guys...needs must when the devil rides your ass like a beyatch!

    Have a Peg 2 with 1GHz G4 and 512Mb DDR RAM for sale....looking for offers.

    I need money (airplane tickets to buy) so no cheaping out on me

    I actually have a complete system (To get an idea of the case - pics in link below) and will take offers on that if you need a complete build but I'd rather sell just the motherboard,CPU and RAM against the future event that I get another Peg.

    Pegasos Pics

    The system in the picture has been upgraded a lot since - Peg II vs the Peg I in the picture, a Sony DVD+/-RW and also Voodoo3 AGP is available as well as Radeon.

    Steve :-?

    What price range were you looking at? (how much are these airline tickets? ;-) )

    Also -- where are you at? (I'm in the U.S.)

    Hey man,

    Airline tickets are super expensive (flights to UK) even more so with the Bushes war on the US economy.

    PM me with an offer...clearly I'm looking for a contribution to my flight fund not the whole amount ;-)

    I'm located in Northern Calif.

    Cheers,

    Steve

    Yikes! California to the UK! I say just stay home!

    I've been looking at "low end" solutions, so I'm not sure if I'm your buyer -- but I'll PM you anyway.

    Steve, if you promise to stay active in the "Community" and keep the machine (you have to demo again at AmiWest!), we will send you $1000 tomorrow. You earned it!

    OK?!

    @BBRV

    You know guys...you are crazy. You know that right? ;-)

    I might be crazy enough to accept if not for the naggin feeling that money should go to a more deserving cause.

    Still that would cover 2 years worth of Amiwest tables and leave a sizeable chunk of change....hmmm!

    :-D

    Steve did more while asking for much less than many others. Do you want to sell a machine Thomas? We could do the same for you.

    Yeah, JKD has done a lot for the community and I don't think it would be the same without him.

    Seriously, JKD and BBRV, you guys should do that! ;-)

    No more replies from me in the thread...since it got way out of control.

    PM or email me.

    Since it went so far OT, admin should lock it.

    @bbrv
    I urge you to settle whatever grievances you have from the past, otherwise they will bite you at somepoint. Even if they do not..sometimes its the right thing to do.

    Disputes between employees amd their employers are not fit for public discussion except in the courtroom...just a personal opinion.

    I'm pretty sure Thomas took his job with Genesi seriously and respectfully, please lets not have another he said/she said match.

    @magnetic

    Please start another thread if you want to pursue. I'm sure you don't have a grievance with me, nor I with you and I think neither of us want to see this kind of behaviour in MZ

    Steve

    All this makes me very very "uncomfortable" -- my interest in getting a Pegasos just went away.

    I think I'll just stick with my Amithlon box a little longer.

    Amithlon should make you even more uncomfortable.. that product has had it's share of misunderstandings, legal problems and BS ;-)

    But its a great product... used it for a few months.

    That's a VERY good point! ;-)

    @everyone
    calm down please.

    @klester
    please don't let politics and warring words dictate what you will or will not use. If we were all to do that, no one would use a computer at all.

    @magnetic
    if you want to share something sent to you in a private email, please do so privately instead of starting a war-thread on MorphZone. Or, at least use a site that is more geared towards handling a flame-fest.
