I wanted to create low-resolution animation in 16 colors. Something like pixel-art but I am not "art". :) So I though that Personal Paint would be quite good tool for the task. Unfortunately PPaint doesn't work correctly on current MorphOS. I can set a storyboard with frames but when I use "Play", PPaint consumes 100% CPU, animation is not played and can't be stopped.

I have tried MorphOS version of GrafX2 (2.7 and 2.8 available on MorphOS Storage). Unfortunately the application crashes on MorphOS 3.16 when I use "Save" button.

DeluxePaint doesn't work without OCS/ECS/AGA.

Does anyone know other soft for create hand-made retro-pixel-animation?
If not, I will use GrafX2 for macOS.

One solution is to use two programs, which of course is a bit clumsier.

For example, draw the anim on PPaint (luckily switching to prev&next frames works which makes drawing easier), but then save it to be played with some other program. You can save the anim from PPaint and load it in RNOAnim where you can then play the anim and adjust the frame delays etc, and save it to other formats (gif, apng...).

i dont reproduce your problem with last GrafX2 2.8
Have you last SDL2.0.20 installed ? what is your hardware (Altivec or not), some screenshots, logs help me to understand.

in all case, i try to build last GIT version with last SDK / SDL2 etc... and i try to test on all my hardware before release.

Directly (first click) when you click on Load/Save or after save ?

I will test on my PowerBook / MorphOS 3.16 ti be sur... but i dont see reason
