Sam460ex - Ethernet (10 Mbit) link only

    So, the Sam460ex and my router/gateway support 1000 Mbit. But I only get a 10 Mbit link with MorphOS. Is this a known limitation of the driver?

    Edit: changed cable and router/gateway, still 10 Mbit link speed only.

    Actually, I haven't yet checked speed/duplex at the other end. It might be that it's only _reported_ as 10 Mbit.

    Is it possible to change speed/duplex and autoneg on/off?

    I can confirm it's linked in 1000 Mbit, but reported as 10 Mbit.

    I might try to read the actual value (in bits) reported by the eth chipset, via SANA.

    Reporting, or reported? I'm reading this as something that has been reported before and is a known bug. Correct me if I'm wrong.

    The driver merely reports the speed wrong.

    How can one help fixing/updating the Sam460 eth driver so that it can report 100 and 1000 Mbit link?

    Well, it's on our bugtracker, it will possibly be targeted for 3.15, it didn't make it into 3.14, unfortunately.

    Is it possible to "sign up" as beta tester/developer for a single driver? With access to only the source code needed for the driver, nothing else.

    Happy to see the link speed shown as 1000 Mbps in MOS 3.15.
