    How do you configure both monitors?

    The reason is the same as fort the fact that you cannot move the mouse between screens.

    This stuff is not yet implemented unlike when using separate graphic cards. MorphOS sees dual head monitors as a stack of screens, while using two gfx cards result in two separate monitors

    Currently the active screen is the front screen and that one gets a blanker. There is nothing you can do about it beside waiting for the implementation to get completed in the future.

    @geit Aha, thanks!
    Anyway I'm happy to have dual monitor support at all.

    Upgraded to 3.12 finally. Followed the dual monitors tutorial from the Library but the mode list on prefs/screen doesn't show any dual mode to select and setup. It has the ordinary resolutions from past versions. No mob1 or radeon 9800 1 or anything similar. My card is a flashed 9800 pro 256mb agp. It has a vga and dvi port. When both are connected to dual monitors (one vga, second dvi), they mirror each other. This has worked since.. idk more than 5 years at least when I first tried it. So, what am I missing here? Is true dual monitor limited to the specific cards or the configuration? Should I mess with prefs/monitor as well? Dual monitor doesn't work on flashed cards?

    Ah bummer :( Not that I didn't expect it tbh. Is there a list for dual screens supported cards?

    So it seems only the 9600 (64? and 128MB) and the 256MB 9650 found in the dual 2.7GHz are supported as "cards".

    PowerBooks are also supported but my experience is that they only work when connecting an actual digital monitor (anything that used the VGA-part of the DVI won't). Same may apply for 96x0.

    The iMac does indeed support VGA for the 2nd screen (well it lacks DVI, so...) but that got broken in the 3.12 release, mortals have to wait for 3.13.
