Hello, I am trying to install and run the latest SoundFX downloaded from here:

    http://www.sonicpulse.de/eng/p_sfx_download.html

The installer did not work so I had to copy over the majority of the contents manually.

I installed the libs, classes, fonts, and so forth, though I never found the icon for the program itself.

Anyhow, now when I run it, it loads up to 46% and just sits there and says it is "Scanning rexxmacross".

Any ideas as to what I might need to do next? I'd REALLY love to see this running. I have Audio Evolution installed, but no WAVE editor proper which my MorphOS machine REALLY REALLY REALLY needs!

I hate putting files on an SD card, transferring them to my Win7 machine, editing them, and then putting them back on my MorphOS machine only to realize I need to do some more tweaking... ;)

    Thankx in advance!

I downloaded three archives (bin 68040, datas and doocs) and tried to install. Everything went fine though I had the same error on every three installations: "OPENWBOBJECT - unknown command". Well, not a real problem since I've checked installation script and that command is at the very end of installation. So nothing is missing after this stop.
I started unarchiving binaries and once finished I deleted files and archive. I did the same for data archive but without unarchiving, since inside lha file there is another lha file with the same name. MorphOS can open this kind of file so I've opened archive, selected all files and moved in the ram disk and then installed. After this step you will see all the proper icons. Last step unarchived docs and installed. Done! Started without issues it works fine. But you couldn't use it for your sound edit because this is a demo version and you won't be able to save your work unless you have your key file. Well, Sound FX worths the 20 euros it costs for what he offers!

    Yes, thank you Andreas!

I have it running now thankx to Jambalah's advice, but where is the key file in this package from Amiga Future?

EDIT: Oh wait, I presume I still need to register.

No, you don't. Didn't noticed yesterday night but the keyfile is inside the archive: 00019.Amiga.Future is the keyfile.
Rename it as "sfx.key" and put it inf SYS:Devs/keyfiles, or in the sfx dir, or in sfxdir/keyfiles (create one in this case, since there isn't).
Now SoundFX is fully functional. Enjoy!
