    Hello,

I saw an article speaking about a software to record DVDROMs ported from linux to amiga "DVDRecord".

Does somebody tried it under MOS?

I like the sounds of Burnit Pro 3 for DVD etc.
I been using MakeCd for burning files
    and MasterISO for making ISO's.
I'd like to see something native with
    a nice look. Very nice!

    Hi all!

And how about FryingPan? It's author told me yesterday, that it will start to burn DVD's probably later this month!!! And it's shareware. Please support author [error@tbs-software.com] and join to the fryingpan_amiga-subscribe@yahoogroups.com mailing list to gain more information :-D

I love FryingPan. It's already an excellent piece of software with
alot of potential. I just wish it was easier to register.

Well, the registration is a bit problematic... But what's so difficult on sending money in an envelope? It's author is very friendly and open to all discussions and he release fixes nearly everyday :-) IMO, this should be appreciated...

    @MarK,

Mail service here can be quite unreliable. Several checks of mine
have been lost in the mail (through the Military Postal Service). I
doubt cash would ever survive the trip.

Well, if You would feel better, You can send it to me, I'm in contact with FP author and I got this way already about 10 registrations. But it's far better to do it directly and to send money in a box, instead of an envelope :-) And ofcourse heavily secured and layered :-D

    Bye, MarK.

yes we live here in wooden huts without electricity here [...]

you can always make international money transfer. anyway I haven't problems with cash in mail, the only thing you have to care is the packaging.

    hi
the friendly people from SWAUG wrote a very informative review of a liteon dvd burner in combination with amiga (make cd, recorddvd). the conclusion is:
you can use it as a full cd-writer,
you can make backups from your hd upto 4,7gb!
you can copy dvds as long as they are not >2gb, as the tool that creates the image is somehow limited till now.

    but another question:
will burnit 3 be able to transcode video dvds? or will it support dual-layer dvd writers to copy whole dvds???

    kind regards
