After installing last version MUI class get problem whit Wookiechat , cant start it!

Get error ilegal instuction , and after replacing nlistview.mcc class to older version Wookie is running again!

Anyone have the same problem? Thanx

NList.mcc and related classes have long been known to be buginfested crapware, thats why there are some older and still somewhat working versions included in the MorphOS-iso.

I don't think this is true. Where exactly are they supposed to be hidden in your opinion?

but when using older Yam (2.9) is not working! On oS4 have the same mui class version and no problem..Wookiechat is running just fine..

I switched back to 0.116 release of NList classes, which are working with WookieChat.
I do not use YAM at all, because SimpleMail IMHO much better.

NList classes are notoriously buggy. They're so buggy and beyond repair that we decided to get rid of the NList class usage in MorphOS components/applications, wherever possible (IIRC that happened several MorphOS releases ago).

This incident (and several earlier similar incidents) back up that decision.

Unfortunately some 3rd party applications still use them, however, and thus situations like this can arise.

Unfortunately there is very little we can do here, other than to point you to direction of the NList class developers. It's their mess, and they should fix it.

New MUI class version is on Aminet!!! Now Wookiechat again working under MOS!
