I finally got around to installing Opus Magellan, but it won't display PNG icons. Has anyone figured this out yet? I'd like to make it look a little nicer including the titlebar, which is white.

I added support for PNG icons using icon.library to draw them, but this didn't work on MorphOS according to kas1e. The title bar has been already fixed. I just didn't adjust the MorphOS makefile, because the MorphOS port is rather unstable and unsupported. Currently we have no MorphOS programmers aboard to fix the crashes.

I'm using the 68k version BTW.

The 68k version of magellan has custom icon drawing routines, and it only supports planar and NewIcon icons. As a workaround you have to use a hack to open magellan listers from ambient:

Sad to hear that no coders within the MorphOS community are trying to work out the bugs. Then again MorphOS is pretty darn good without it, where as AROS is in serious need of it.
Still yet though, it would be nice to have as an option for MorphOS too, though of course not a priority except maybe for Efika users.

Magellan2 works just fine as it is if you run it with Ambient and not on its own window. Missing PNG icon support doesn't matter anything to me in fact. I like to be able to open either Ambient or Magellan lister any time on the very same desktop. If I handle by icon then I open Ambient, if by name mode, then Magellan. And I have Magellan startmenus, hotkeys etc available in Ambient all the time. I like the integration option better than them both separated :)

I was working on the project on the spring but since then I got derailed from that project due to my travelling and then lost interest on that project. I tried to resurrect my interest but failed on it while I am having other SW projects going on.
