I used to have Pagestream 3 and DrawStudio (bought legally) in the late 90's/early 00's.
Is there a way I can legally obtain these again (or even upgrade to Pagestream 5 for MorphOS without breaking the bank)?
there seems to be no way to contact grasshopper/Pagestream on their website

is there anything else out there that does similar and is as good on 68k/MorphOS?

Also, is there any photo manipulation software that uses layers?

thanks in advance for any help

Both http://www.pagestream.org and http://www.grasshopperllc.com have an email address in the page footer.

    > is there any photo manipulation software that uses layers?

Out of the software titles you were told about in that other thread, I think at least Photogenics, ArtEffect and ImageFX use layers. TVPaint should work with layers, too.

Cheers, wasn't sure if I should keep updating the same thread

The email address in the footer bounced back, address doesn't exist

ImageFX looks like the best, and has a MorphOS version, however, the web site is very old and out of date, plus the contact page goes to a 3rd party company and doesn't work, not sure if I can trust them to spend that much money when the site hasn't even been touched in 5 years, is there another way to buy it that anyone knows of?

Does that happen with both email addresses?

    > the web site is [...] out of date

How do you know? Isn't it more likely the site is up to date and there simply hasn't anything more recent happened to report on the site? :-)

    > the contact page goes to a 3rd party company and doesn't work

Yes, that's unfortunate and shouldn't be the case. You may be able to contact Kermit Woodall via his new company:

    > the site hasn't even been touched in 5 years

Most recent entry is from October 2011, i.e. less than 2 years ago:

I was looking at the copyright, 2008, being a web developer, I can tell it's old and out of date

Seems he just forgot to update the copyright date. Fact is, as you can see from the link I gave, that there was an update to the website in 2011.

    > I can tell it's [...] out of date

Yes, the copyright date is out of date obviously. It should read "2011" at least. I don't see how the main content of the site is out of date, though, as I can't remember any more recent NovaDesign news not reflected on the site.

Actually we're still around but doing other things. However you can buy ImageFX still from my old partner Bob Fisher.

My email account bounced due to a host change that bolluxed up our A name record for the Nova Design domain.

You can reach Bob at bob (at) lostandfoundstudio (dot) com

By the way - thanks for alerting me to how out-of-date I'd let the site get. I've fixed everything now.

Did you sell the programs? Otherwise just run them. Both work on MOS. Both need a huge overhaul but at least they can be used with limitations.

Wow! An ImageFX author is still around after so many years! Is there any chance to get an updated version that more fits into todays MOS/Amiga environment?

Kermit is awesome, I e-mailed him right away this morning when I saw questions come up about ImageFX. He immediately logged onto here to help. Great customer service.

Thank you for responding, I actually found Bob on Youtube yesterday and messaged him through there before I saw you'd responded on here.

Indeed. He went out of his way and not only logged into MorphZone but even registered a new account. I remember that he already was a member of this site years ago. Seems he had deleted his old account.
