    what app can i use in what way to convert mp3 to wav/cdda?
    lame seems to have that feature, but fails completly.
    what options beside --decode should i use to do the job?

    Hi GMKai,

    Glad to hear you solved your problem. :-)

    Do you know of a program that can read/play WAV-files?

    @Spidey:

    I know it's a bit "sledge hammer to crack a nut" but PSA can play
    wavs.

    Hi Magnetic,

    I'm fine. I was "out" for a couple of weeks, but now I'm back again :-)

    @Everybody:

    Hi folks,

    I'm now looking to convert wavs to mp3. I downloaded lame
    but haven't the foggiest idea how to work it.

    Are there instructions anywhere?

    -EDIT-

    I've found the html. do I have to install lame in C or something,
    then tpye the commands in a shell?

    Excuse my ignorance. :-/
