    Youtube managed to double-annoy me:

    First they enforce their HTML5 player and replace the builtin player i use to replace Flash... :)

    And secondly, they sometimes feed a blob mediasource instead of a direct url to the media when using their own HTML5 player, which is not supported.

    As a workaround, you can still click the rightmost small "18" (or whatever) link below the video to replace (AGAIN) the player they spawn and it will work using the builtin HTML5 player (these links are added by the youtube.js script).

    For the blob thing when using their own HTML5 player, i fear it requires a new OWB version (assuming it can be dealt with).

    Spoofing as iPad still works. But that's not really nice.

    Agreed. The thing I miss most in Youtube's mobile mode is a working (as in overlay-enabling) fullscreen button. Fab said he might try to do something about that.

    It still works by clicking the "18" link below, for instance.

    I already explained earlier the various ways youtube decided to break, and none of them are trivial to "fix".

    This intermediate solution often ends up with no sound for me.

    Since there's a point where two players are running at the same time, and you apparently didn't set "Unit 0 : blah" as musical unit.

    Let me remind you that OWB uses AHI exclusive music unit, so you have to redirect it to unit 0 to share sound between several instances. Once done, you'll have sound, always.

    The new version of Maps really doesn't work well with OWB 1.20. It eventually fails.

    I just updated the youtube.js userscript. It deals with the various ways youtube decided to break. That said, i wouldn't be surprised if it would still break soonish. They do really WEIRD stuff.

    bash64,

    Top menu->Settings->System->Audio

    Make sure Music Unit is selected from the drop down and select Unit 0: HiFi 16bit Stero+++

    Click save

    I am using a Powerbook with mos 3.2. There is no drop down to select HiFi like I used to be able to when I ran os 3.1.
    There is a settings->system->Sound
    but no Audio icon in the control panel.
    There is no drop down in the sound settings beyond the normal default menu items when right clicking.

    Hi Bash64,

    'Sound' is in the top row of preferences (under the User Interface subheading) and allows you to set system sounds, etc
    'Audio' is in the bottom row (under the 'Hardware' subheading) and allows you to configure the audio hardware.

    If it isn't there, something is very wrong. :-)

    Regards
