    Hi,

I would like to use magicalink for some work and I have a strange thing:
When I draw a text box and try to edit the text on object properties, the text is unchanged and it displays allways (null) :-(
Is this a bug or something I dont understood?

    thx

    How do you do it?

    It should go like that:
    1. Draw a text box
    2. Select "Tools" and then "Edit.T."
    3. Change the defauld "Text" in new texteditor window

I have the same problem here, it seems that it can't find the fonts... because when clicking on the font selector no fonts are shown...

    rms,
Right, if I try to underline or bold etc, the (null) is affected by this parameters like if it were the text.
This makes me thinking that the text space is empty and replaced by (null)

    Hi,

I have found the solution :

Ther's one file to delete :

    sys:Prefs/Env-Archive/MUI/MAGICALINK.cfg

If there's always troubles, delete this

    sys:Prefs/Env-Archive/MUI/MAGICALINK.1.prefs
    :-)

A reset is needed to empty env: ;-)

Really? I think applying the changes done to ENVARC: to ENV: as well should suffice.

    Are you sure?
I never saw a file deleted by hand on env-archive beeing automaticaly deleted on ram:env/ without a reset.
You should delete it yourself by hand, but a reset is easier for most people.

I didn't say anything about "automatically".

    Yes, that's what I meant.

    > but a reset is easier for most people.

Yes, but without reset it's faster, even with the minimal reboot time of MorphOS.
