    Hi folks,

Can anyone reccommend some decent CD-burning software.

Oh and something that would let me control music CDs from Ambient
    would be nice too. :-)

    Thanks,
    Robert.

Why MakeCD of course! There is a fairly functional demo available. The interface is a little complex but as far as Amiga CDR/RW software goes I think it's the best.

Oh yeah, I use OptyCDPlayer too...s'on Aminet

MakeCD is very good. I tried FryingPan in demo version, it's more simple and it's powerfull too... so i'm waiting to see a version more 'developped' to register.

Was some CD writing software supposed to have native MOS version in the future? Was it BurnIt?

Anyway, I'd recommend MakeCD "while waiting", iirc, its' demo version is by far most "functional" of all demo versions, I tried on Amiga ages ago

    (Have it registered too)

It can burn disc images without restrictions, if you create data CD from files on your HD, disc's name will be "UNREGISTERED" and that's it...

Oh, if you write audio CD's, they can have only 10 tracks in demo version, iirc...

    Don't know, sorry.

Had a brief look at it last night.Quote:

That's correct. I haven't actually tried to burn anything with it yet. Sheesh, sometimes I wish I was a sad "nae-mates", so I'd have more time to myself - social life keeping me away from my peggy!

I did try FryingPan but it seemed to hang whilst copying files from an audio CD to the HD.

I've been using MakeCD ever since I got my peggy and it works great. :-) A little bit complex on the interface, but very reliable on MOS1.3 and MOS1.4. :-)

I finally managed to burn a CD using MakeCD.
However, I had to hit retry about thirty times, as I kept getting
    "Hardware Error: " messages.

    Any idea what's causing that?
