Problems with Sketch

I have just got an eMac and I am having a couple of problems with my MorphOS installation and want to see if it is something that others are experiencing or there is a tweak.

With Sketch it seems a bit unstable and especially in the cutting of images I always get an OS lock up. This is frustrating because it looks like a very competent paint application with the kind of functions I use day to day.

On a side issue, the dock bar which I set up seems to have disappeared. Maybe I stupidly deleted it but I do not know where it is supposed to be.

    Thanks for any help.

By the way, your version of MPlayer is very nice, wish we had video scaling on Aros, maybe one day.

Please check update option in Sketch (from top menu). If you will still have this problem write to me.

    Hi Stefkos,

there is (was?) a little problem with update.
If you have newer version, it will be replaced by update even if it's older.
I tested it when MorphOS 2.5 was released.

Right now you can only have latest version.

It appears I have the latest version.

I have a problem mainly with the Stamp button which locks MorphOS and also the Cut and Paste functionality.

The rest of it seems OK at the moment.

I do think that this program and Showgirls with its batch process offer some great basic functionality.

    Thanks for the replies.

I had the exact same problem with the earlier version, for me this was fixed in the latest version.
You sure you have version 1.2204 (15.06.2010) ?

If it still refuses to update, you could try to copy the old version from the 2.4 CD if you've got it. Maybe it will upgrade from that version.
Or you can ask the author for a direct link to the archive.

I do not have the 2.4 version, and it does not show the new version.

Is there a way I can manually download.

Yes, that's the public version you get by using the internal upgrade function.

Does that mean it is coming and I will be able to download soon. As you say there is real life and I am in no rush as I have other applications I can use. I look forward to seeing it when it is ready :-)
