Then surely there should be an option to not create an icon, AND for that matter to create an icon from a default icon, for that very reason, so you can choose to NOT create one or YES create one.
Seems this should be a feature of MorphOS anyway, to ensure when you are altering the read protection bits that creating an icon for a file you don't want to amend is left the same apart from the changes you want, or allow you to create that icon from the default one aleady being displayed.
Seems logical to me, what's your opinion?
