    Hi all,

I'm pretty new to MorphOS (only a week since registering), but have years of Amiga usage. I understand the virtually unlimited customization that MUI offers, but find the constant snapshotting of windows to be a little disconcerting. My biggest gripe: The file requester NEVER stays the size I snapshot it to.

Try this: Use OWB to download a file. When the file requester opens to select a destination, resize the window and use the icon to snapshot it.

Now, use the dropdowns to get into the MUI settings. Select the 'Text' option from the left column. Next to the string gadget with 'example' is a Disk icon. Click this and the file requester will now be located below the gadget and much smaller than originally snapshotted.

Finally, any other request for a file will open this smaller version.

    It's NEVER ENDING!

This is a problem because the volumes and assigns on the right are often unreadable because of the size of the window.

Perhaps a GLOBAL setting for certain windows, like file requesters?
