    Hi,

I need some help to use AmiNetRadio and maybe his Arexx port.
I really dont know how to use Arexx, this is why I'm asking to you.

I use AmiNetRadio every Thusday to record a radio mp3 stream and would like to do it
automatically me, because I record it late on evening.

To run AminetRadio at the good day and good hour, I choosed PolyOrganiser.

Now my question is how to start AmiNetRadio with the good mp3 stream and telling to him to record this stream?

    Sorry for my badly english

    Thank you.

You could start an ARexx-Script right afterwards, which sends the needed Commands to AminetRadio.
That should not be a Problem.
I can create a small script for you to start with.

Here is one quickly made arexx example for you. Edit the config line to be suitable for you.

You don't have to run ANR separately, just run this script from PolyOrganiser. Give wanted url as an option for it like this: rx anr-record.rexx http://sd-1634.dedibox.fr:8000/stream.mp3

Then you can also stop it with "stop" or "stopsaving" argument from that PolyOrga or whatever...

@JPV when pressing the above link on IE browser, it opened win media player and began the stream, is there a script, or a way to configure OWB to do the same with ANR? Similair to owb and mplayer for flash, using getvid :-?

Sure, easy to do. Just go to OWB mimetype configuration, and add audio/mpeg entry with an external action set to ANR (or Mplayer) with %l as argument.

I got a requestor for assign, mount, deny.... http, pressed deny and got

    http://sd-1634.dedibox.fr:8000/stream.mp3: Unknown command
    http://sd-1634.dedibox.fr:8000/stream.mp3 failed returncode 10

assuming this same stream is live, may I have missed a step?
will this also work for yahoo music

I tried shoutcast, but their options are now d/l or use their player

You didn't input the external command properly. You likely just set "%l" without anything else, so "http://blah" gets executed as command and you obviously get a http: requester.

So, set the command properly: "foo:bar/AminetRadio" in the first field, and %l in the second field
