    Hey dudes,

i guess a few of you noticed already that WHDLoad simply doesnt work
    like it should in EUAE

In the most games you are not able to use any savegame functions.
Mostly it quits with an AmigaDos Error saying that the memory
is full or either it just claims that it saved, but when u
quit and restart, u see nothing was saved.

Running the games without EUAE lets them work fine.
The problem is, that alot games dont run without WHDLoad.

Somebody every found a solution for that or even
    fixed the source itself?
This is what i got as a response on the WHDLoad ML

I have no idea what the reason for this problem is. And therefore also
no idea what could be changed in WHDLoad.
Because it's known to be a problem in euae I also don't want to spend
any time on looking for that.

Maybe it's a problem related to the device having more space than 4 GB, because the described problem doesn't occur if you use E-UAE and WHDLoad together with hardfiles. So, a workaround could be to start E-UAE from a volume smaller than 4 GB (small partition or hardfile).

It could be a workaround to use a smaller partition
but a hardfile doest let me run my whdload stuff easy
    anymore.

I would have to put every little game into a hardfile and could
not just (nearly) start the games from ambient with a doubleclick.

Strange that nobody tried to fix this.
Just saw the source are a bit newer then the latest release but i dont
think the bug is fixed there

That's what I had done, i was using a small partition of 2 GB just for E-UAE and WHDLoad-related games. You could also make up a, let's say, 1 gig sized hardfile and mount it as a AmigaDOS-device via diskimage.device. This should also work.
