Mounting network disc, how to?

    Got this nice network drive at home using to share stuff on the local network.
    But how do i mount this in MorphOS, is there any program i need etc?
    plz let me know if your using a network drive and have it working with MorphOS.

    You can give a try with SMBFS 1.66 available on aminet.

    To mount a smb guest share (no password) :

    run >nil: smbfs workgroup=nameoftheworkgroup service=//nameoftheserver/nameoftheshare

    This shall work straight away.

    If you want to see the share on the ambient desktop, add volume option with the desired name. Don't forget to add a disk.info on the share.

    smbfs can be launched from wbstartup drawer. Add an icon, set some tooltypes (workgroup, service, etc...) and tada.

    Disk.info is not needed.
    And if you want some specific icon, you can also just have a def_smbfs0disk.info in your deficon path (sys:prefs/presets/deficons/ by default). Its representation mode & icon/window position will be saved too.
