I'm trying to get samba working on my Pegasos 2 G4 so it can share its files with my other Pegs.
I've installed samba 2.2.5 68k version and added the following following lines to envarc:sys/net/inetd.conf:
netbios-ssn stream tcp nowait root samba:bin/smbd smbd
netbios-ns dgram udp wait root samba:bin/nmbd nmbd
swat stream tcp nowait root samba:bin/swat swat -a
I've added:
netbios-ns 137/udp
netbios-dgm 138/udp
netbios-ssn 139/tcp
swat 901/tcp
to the bottom of the envarc:sys/net/services file.
And my envarc:sys/net/passwd file looks like the following:
pcguest||1|100|PC Guest|SYS:|cli
I've set a static ip of 192.168.1.247 and edited the smb.conf file according to my network.
If I use smbclient on my other Peg2G4 it lists the shares available so all well and good so far.
But I can not get smbfs to mount these shares. I keep getting ERRSRV - ERbadpw (Bad password - name/password pair in a Tree Connect or Session Setup are invalid) and then error 21.
As far as I know I haven't set a password so I'm at a bit of a loss. I've spent hours trying different things but to no avail. I've managed to get samba working on my Amiga 1200 and on AOS4.1 so I have got some experience with it but I just don't know what else to try. Do I need to change the inet.access file or something?
Thanks in advance to anybody who can provide any guidance.
