What is the minimum install size for MorphOS that will still successfully boot into a graphical desktop?

Does the DH0 partition have to be SFS formatted or will FFS also work?

Can PPC linux still be installed on an RDB partitioned hard drive?
PPC assembly ain't so bad... ;)

    1. Not sure, for 1.4.5 sth around 30MB. 900MB MorphOS partiton here.
    2. You mean a partition with boot.img probably. Boot from FFS partitions is supported by all SmartFirmare versions (latests can boot from SFS too). For all other partitions use SFS it's better IMHO :).
    3. Sure, why not? MBR partitioned drive would be an evil ;).

Thanks Korni. My install cd doesn't seem to be bootable anymore but all the files on it are readable. In order to prepare my hard drive I used the real drive support of WinUAE and made a small FFS boot partition (named bi0) and used the rest of the drive as the DH0 partition. I'm not entirely sure that using WinUAE to create an SFS partition was ever going to work... So I wondered if both partitions could be FFS.

It'd be really useful to know the directory structure of a bare minimum MorphOS install so I can get my system running again without having to recopy lots of unnecessary files each time I think of a new approach.

BTW I'd really to like to hear from any other Pegasos users in Australia - are there any at all in Queensland?

What is the latest version and where do i get it?

Would be nice to be able to use SFS everywhere.
