I don't think that these Software will ever be released. It's ready for about 2-3 years now, afaik it got BlueRay Support. But the Coder is a perfectionist, and because of a little bug here and a little glitch there no release :(

It seems cool! By the way can anyone suggest a simple CD player
    software for my Peg1?

Would I need any extra config for the CD drive in order to play audio
CDs? I am asking cause an audio CD would not auto-mounted like any
    data CD I would insert...

try SongPlayer, it's simple, and plays CDs with no troubles...

    bye, MarK.

PS: and when talking about burn it 3... try the FryingPan...

I am using FrayingPan now for over 2 years, and for me it's good enough cos i need it just for burning some backup's on DVD or CD. But it would be nice if it had some more, like Nero, where i could drop a AVI or MP3 and it would burn a Video-DVD or an Audio-CD. But i a smarter way Nero does it for me on my XP Box.

FryingPan ofcourse burns MP3s as an audio cd... it's not a problem. but to make a video dvd... it's a bit harder nut to crack...

    bye, MarK.

I would be really interested in something that could burn audio cds from ogg vorbis as well as mp3. It really sucks having to decode the files first.

For MP3, even MakeCD does that. You can drag&drop mp3 files to it's main window and burn them directly into audio cd (mpega.library must be installed).

MakeCD has this feature? I didn't know that, thanks.

Yeah, and once you've burned a few music cds like that, you never ever
want to do it in any more cumbersome way. Too bad most of my music is
in ogg, and there doesn't seem to be any convenient way of burning
    that.

it will be included with AmigaOS 5 and will be fully supported by the PowerVixxen and Amy'05.

please don't forward this post to aw.net, it may be taken seriously.

I have seen it 2 weeks ago, it's still in development. But don't ask if it ever be released.

K, it still being developed is at least good news. Could anyone shed a light on what it would take to persuade the coder to (commercially) release it (coding perfectionism aside)?
