I installed today SView5 to check it out, and when I decided to uninstall it (I deleted all the files and some lines from the user-startup), my wallpaper doesn't look as before. It seems to have very low resolution, and when I check other photos (all in .jpeg format), the problem is the same.
I installed also some ak Datatypes from Aminet. Maybe is that the problem?

that sounds like a problem of the installed DT.
go ahead and delete ak-datatype as it shouldn't have any advantage over the mos-jpg-dt.

One advantage of the DT is, that you can activate (per task or global) automatic down-scaling of images to 1/8, 1/4 or 1/2 of their size at load-time, which greatly speeds up things. You should not activate this as global settings, though - only for apps like e.g. Easter which may profit from this for thumbnail creation.
Deleting ENV: and ENVARC:Datatypes/akJFIF.prefs will give you the default behaviour back.
