New AMD graphics drivers?

    I noticed that AMD are releasing the sources for many of the drivers for their chips (read more here ).. It seems to me this would enable some hard-working MorphOS developer to port some drivers for newer graphics borads, is this correct?

    Just thought I'd post the link if someone is interested in giving it a go :)

    interesting but what would be the benefit of having drivers for cards that you can't plug in a Pegasos or Efika ?

    I read about that too. But AMD said that you can use the Linux drivers for new cards x2k series with older ones...

    Daniel Stone is announcing the avalability of the first AMD/ATI specs - chips RV630 and M56 apparently. The specifications are released without an NDA.
